I have been a physio for almost two decades. I have significant experience in the Aged Care, Disability, and Rehabilitation sectors, with a special interest in neurology, disability, chronic disease, women’s and men’s pelvic health, and continence. After working in a tertiary hospital in Perth, I moved to Kalgoorlie where I led a physiotherapy department and practised in every clinical area physiotherapy has to offer. Upon moving back to Perth, I worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for “Rehabilitation In The Home”, and also at Complex Care Facilities, as well as setting up this business. I have also been involved in research, and collaborated on four publications so far. I am a proud APA Member, and am part of the Neurology National Group and Disability Network Group.
I love to learn new things, and find new challenges. I also love to get involved in the local community. I co-led the creation of a nature playground at my children’s school worth over $100,000. I am passionate about sustainability, and was one of the founding members of the Bayswater ‘Transition Town’ network, a grass roots project aimed at increasing sustainability and reducing the effects of climate change.
